Visit to Archeological site of Madan-Kamdev Temple, Baihata, Assam – 10th February 2021

Objective: The one day trip of Madan Kamdev was an enlightening experience for the students and the teachers alike. It is the only temple dedicated to the Lord Kamdeva and has uncanny resemblance to the Khajuraho group of temples in Madhya Pradesh. This unique archaeological site offered the students a glimpse of how ancient remains are excavated and studied by archeologists and historians to uncover a piece of our past.
